RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg is running on generator power and several outpatient clinics in other localities are closed because of outages.

A Carilion Clinic spokesman says the Pearisburg hospital is operating normally with generator power. But some of the health care system's outpatient clinics don't have electricity.

Two outpatient clinics operated by the Salem VA Medical Center in Lynchburg and Staunton are closed Monday because of power outages.
