WASHINGTON (AP) — Supporters and opponents of the health care reform law are lined up, waiting for the Supreme Court ruling on its constitutionality.
Carol Anderson, a Roman Catholic from Williamsburg, Va., is first in line outside the Supreme Court. Seated next to a picture of the Virgin Mary, Anderson says she's praying that the law will be struck down "in its entirety."
Dutch Anderson — no relation — from Castro Valley, Calif., says he's willing to wait in line nearly 24 hours to hear the ruling in person because he's a history and civics teacher "and a Christian."
Third in line is Laura Brennaman of Fort Myers, Fla., a nurse working toward a doctoral degree on health policy. Brennaman says she supports the law and employer coverage for birth control because she's "very passionate about health care access for all people."
