AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — An Air Force Academy cadet who was found guilty in two sexual misconduct cases has been sentenced to six months in a military prison and dismissal from the Air Force.

The academy says Stephan Claxton also was sentenced Friday to forfeit all pay and allowances. He just finished his junior year at the academy.

A court martial for Claxton resulted in a panel of officers finding him guilty Thursday of forcing a woman to touch his genitals in March 2011. He also was found guilty in connection with an encounter in November, in which he was accused of unzipping a woman's pants after a night of drinking and of punching a cadet who found Claxton with the unconscious woman.

Claxton's attorney, Frank Spinner, argued witnesses gave conflicting statements.
