LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two men have been arrested on suspicion of beating up another man in a Los Angeles freeway road rage battle that was caught on video.

California Highway Patrol Officer Ming Hsu (Shee') says the men turned themselves in to a CHP office in Hollywood on Wednesday evening.

He says 21-year-old David Mendez and 27-year-old Edras Ramirez, both of Los Angeles, were jailed on suspicion of assault. They remain jailed Thursday.

Authorities believe they're the men who were videotaped beating and kicking a man on a transition road to the Interstate 5 freeway on June 12.

The victim has told TV stations he unintentionally cut off another car and suffered a concussion in the resulting fight.
