Many pools close for the season after Labor Day, but the Reynoldsburg Swim Club may be in danger of closing permanently.
In a letter, the owners of the Swim Club stated they plan to sell it.
Reynoldsburg Mayor Brad McCloud said he would hate to see the pool close after five decades in business.
"It's a passing of an era. A lot of people, including myself, spent a lot of time here over the years. Maybe this is an opportunity there will be a transfer, revived on some level," said McCloud.
City leaders are talking about the idea of buying the swim club.
The owners said they hope that happens.
If city leaders decide to move forward, there would be several public hearings to determine if citizens think it is a good idea.
