Man Accused Of Taking 71-Year-Old Man's Wallet

Columbus Police are searching for a man they say robbed another person in north Columbus.

Officers say on Monday around 8:00 p.m., a man followed the 71-year-old victim into the locked entryway of his apartment building on North High Street, near King Avenue.

The suspect then pushed the victim into a corner and ripped the wallet out of his pocket. The victim says the suspect took off on foot.

The suspect is described as being a man between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a white Ohio State hat, black t-shirt and red socks. He also appears to be missing several front teeth.
