Braxton Miller told his Instagram followers on Tuesday that his surgery went well.
Dr. James Andrews operated on Miller's shoulder. The injury will cost the QB the entire season playing for the Buckeyes.
In the Instagram post, Miller referred to his doctor as "the best." He said went on to write, "So happy this man said everything went well!"
Despite the injury, Miller will be a leader with the Buckeye football team this year. He was voted as a captain, even after his injury.
Redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett will get this weekend's start at QB against Navy.
