Special Information:
Warm and muggy air will remain in place across central Ohio through the weekend. There is a slight chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm early this evening with partly cloudy skies expected overnight. Once again, some patchy areas of fog will be likely. Temperatures will hold in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
Sunday will be mostly dry with partly to mostly sunny skies once any fog burns off in the morning. Temperatures will quickly rise into the 80s with parts of southern Ohio nearing 90 degrees by the afternoon. The heat index may reach into the middle 90s late in the day. Hazy, hot and humid weather will stick around as we head into the first half of next week. High temperatures will be near 90 degrees with lows around 70 degrees Monday through Wednesday. A cold front will move into the state on Thursday, although a tropical system off the East Coast may delay the cold front until Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are expected as the front moves into the state with cooler, drier weather arriving behind the front for next weekend.

There is a slight chance for a shower or storm across central Ohio early this evening. Any showers that do develop will be slow moving and could produce locally heavy rain. Otherwise it will remain partly cloudy, warm and muggy overnight. Patchy areas of fog, locally dense, will be possible after 11pm. Hot and humid weather is expected Sunday through Wednesday with high temperatures nearing 90 degrees and heat index values rising into the middle 90s.
