Famous Mom Offers Fitness And Health Tips

The demands on busy moms are even greater right now with the kids on summer break.

10TV's Jeff Hogan spoke to a famous athlete mom who commits to be fit while facing those same challenges

Former pro volleyball player Gabrielle Reece says another thing we should do all the time is take care of ourselves and that comes down to discipline.

“You've got to treat it like everything else, you treat with discipline in your life. It's not like, well, if I feel like it or I'm not too tired I'll go take that walk today,” said Reece.

Reece is 44 years old and has three kids. She is a 6’3” 175 pound model. She has a message for other moms about how to tackle fitness.

3.    Identify Your Worst Habit and Eliminate It

Reece says focus on things you can eat and not what's forbidden.

“I always say it's not going to be about diet, it’s about what am I eating, and how am I living that's serving me, and I can get it done and reach my goals,” said Reece.

If you don't want to eat it, experts say don't have it in your house. 

Reece also tries to be an example to her kids of how movement can be fun. She says kids should play, not see it as exercise.
