Police were trying to figure out whether two robberies early Friday morning were connected.
The first robbery happened around 4:00 Friday morning at a BP gas station on east Fifth Avenue near Port Columbus International Airport.
Police said two masked men threatened the store clerk with a gun and demanded cash.
Officers said the suspects were wearing green or aqua jackets, with bandanas covering their faces.
About an hour later, one suspect robbed a Speedway on east Main Street, along the city line between Columbus and Whitehall.
The suspect had a gun, demanded cash and ran from the scene.
Police were hoping surveillance video will help them identify the suspects.
The store clerks weren't injured.
