Grandview Heights Police Warn Of Scam By Business Claiming To Be Based In City

Grandview Heights Police have issued a scam alert for a company that says it will provide loans.

Aporia Credit Management claims to be based in Grandview, according to its website. Police say the address on the site does not exist, and the Ohio Attorney General's Office has no business filing for Aporia.

Police started to look into the situation after a complaint from an individual who was contacted by Aporia. Someone on the phone from Aporia tried to convince the individual to send a deposit to an address in Canada.

Anyone who has had contact with the business is asked to call the Ohio AG's Office at 1-800-282-0515.
