A murder suspect remained on the run Sunday night. The suspect is accused of shooting and killing a man, and shooting a woman, Saturday night at a Hocking Hills cabin.

The Hocking County Sheriff says the shooting happened just before 9 p.m. at the Wildwoods Backwood Retreats Cabins on State Route 678.

Investigators said the man was found dead in the cabin and the woman was flown to a Columbus area hospital.

10TV has learned the name of the suspect, but Hocking County detectives have asked that it not be released.

Detectives said they are currently working with multiple agencies across the state to track down the alleged killer.

10TV has learned that the suspect and the female victim were previously married and have children together. The couple previously lived in the Westerville area.

The 31-year-old woman remained in a Columbus hospital Sunday night.

The Hocking County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country van with Ohio plates DRA-8569.
