The Ohio Department of Corrections will send inspectors to every state prison after multiple reports of maggots found in food.
Over the last few weeks, maggots have been reported at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville and the Trumbull Correctional Institution in Leavittsburg.
In the case of the ORW, family of inmates inside say it has occurred more than once.
Aramark, the company contracted to provide meals for Ohio's 26 prisons, says it's investigating claims of maggots like in prison kitchens.
Aramark also services prisons in Michigan that are looking into incidents of maggots being found in prison food service areas.
A report 10TV obtained on the ORW incident shows staff members confirmed "live maggots" in the turkey...and blamed an "electric meat slicer" as the source of the maggots.
