More Maggots Reported In Food In An Ohio Prison

UPDATED: Monday July 7, 2014 4:03 PM

Prison officials look into another report of maggots in food at an Ohio prison.

Authorities say the latest case was at the Trumbull Correctional Institution. An officer said a maggot infestation caused an unsafe environment, and one food line had to be closed.

The report comes after a similar problem was reported at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.

Aramark is the company that provides the food for Ohio prisons.
