Special Information:
Another warm and muggy night is in the forecast with a chance for evening thunderstorms. While the storms will be mostly isolated, those that get a storm may experience brief heavy rain, gusty winds and frequent lightning. Most if not all of the showers and storms will dissipate by midnight. Some patchy fog will be possible overnight in areas that receive rainfall. Temperatures will remain warm overnight with most areas holding to around 70 degrees.
Another hot and humid day is in the forecast on Monday with a pop up, late day storm once again possible. Temperatures will rise to near 90 degrees. The heat will build for another day, Tuesday, with highs in the lower 90s. A cold front will enter the state by late Tuesday bringing with it a better chance for thunderstorms. A few storms late Tuesday could be strong to severe, although widespread severe weather is not expected at this time. Cooler, less humid air will arrive in the state for Thursday and into the 4th of July.

More pop up storms will be possible Monday with an increasing risk for storms by late Tuesday as a cold front approaches. There will be at least a low threat for severe thunderstorms Tuesday ahead of the cold front.
