Special Information:
    Pop up showers and thunderstorms which have developed in the afternoon heating will dissipate shortly after sunset tonight. There will only be a slight chance for a shower lingering overnight. An upper-level disturbance will allow for more pop up showers and thunderstorms by Sunday afternoon and into the evening hours. While the threat for severe weather is quite low, a few of the thunderstorms could briefly produce some small hail, gusty winds and also locally heavy rainfall. Also, frequent lightning will be likely with any storms.  Temperatures will remain quite warm overnight with lows near 70 degrees and highs Sunday will be in the upper 80s.
   A quick lull in showers and storms is expected on Monday before storms return with a cold front on Tuesday. This front could bring and increased risk of stronger storms by Tuesday evening. Showers should clear the state by Wednesday morning with cooler, less humid air arriving in time for the holiday.

Inconvenient Weather:  Pop up evening storms will slowly dissipate after sunset but will return with the afternoon heating on Sunday. While the overall threat for severe weather is quite low, a few storms could be strong with some small hail and gusty winds. Also, brief heavy rain will be possible with any storms. The greatest threat for strong to severe storms will be with the arrival of a cold front on Tuesday.

Planning Your Day: Partly cloudy skies will start the day Sunday with warm and muggy conditions. Pop up thunderstorms will become more numerous late into the afternoon and early evening before dissipating Sunday night. It will be warm and muggy with high temperatures climbing into the upper 80s.
