A popular chicken product has been pulled from store shelves.

Bellisio Foods Inc. in Jackson, Ohio has recalled 12,180 pounds of a Thai Kitchen Chicken Pad Thai product because of a misbranding problem.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says there is an undeclared allergen included in the chicken.

The frozen entree product contains soy protein isolate, which is a known allergen. It was not included on the label.

The chicken was made in April and distributed to stores nationwide.

The product was sold in 10-ounce packages with "Sell By" dates of September 30, 2015 and October 17, 2015.

The problem was discovered by the company when they conducted a label review and found that all the sub-ingredients of the Chicken Pad Thai were not listed on the packaging labels.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service  says there haven't been any reports of allerigic reactions.
