Man Critically-Injured In Southeast Columbus Shooting

A man is fighting for his life after someone shot him outside of a southeast Columbus bar.

The shooting happened Monday night around 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of RJ’s Bar and Grill on Frebis Avenue near Fairwood Avenue.

Columbus Police say someone shot 23-year-old James T. Keys multiple times.

Medics rushed Keys to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Officers do not expect him to survive.

Police say they do not have a suspect.

Officers say no one saw the shooting and there is no video surveillance in the area.
