Temperatures will fall back into the lower 50s tonight with a light east breeze. Another dry, sunny day is in store for Father’s Day with warmer temperatures. Highs will jump back into the lower to middle 80s by late afternoon.
As high pressure moves off to the east, it will begin to pump up more heat and humidity as we start the new week. A frontal boundary will approach northwestern Ohio and become nearly stationary through much of next week. This will be the focus for showers and thunderstorms with the storms frequently drifting into central Ohio. The greatest threat for storms will be late afternoons into the overnight hours Monday through Friday. Outside of any storms, skies will be partly cloudy and it will be quite hot and humid. High temperatures will be near 90° Tuesday through Thursday before cooling some by the end of the week.
