Army Rangers Make Columbus Stop In Trek To New York

UPDATED: Saturday June 14, 2014 7:20 PM

Two U.S. Army Rangers made a stop in Columbus on Saturday as they backpack from Denver to New York to raise money for veterans returning from war.

The pair left Denver with nothing more than a backpack and $100.

They are relying on donations to raise money for the GallantFew, which helps veterans returning from overseas combat.

The men said they've slept in fields and hitchhiked to make it this far because they believe every veteran needs some help upon returning home.
