Ohio pharmacists will now be allowed to administer the MMR vaccine in an effort to stop the spread of measles and mumps outbreaks.

Gov. John Kasich signed the executive order on Monday.

Licensed pharmacists can administer the MMR vaccine to anyone over 18 years old.

The CDC says that the current national measles outbreak is the largest of the disease in the U.S. since 1994.
