UPDATED: Friday June 6, 2014 11:27 AM

The Ohio State University is freezing tuition for students from Ohio next year.

But out-of-state students will have to pay more, reported the Columbus Dispatch.

The university's trustees decided to keep Ohio undergraduate tuition at just over $10,000 a year for the next school year.

For students from other states, tuition will be going up by 5 percent. That puts the yearly tuition and fees for undergrads at more than $26,000. Out-of-state graduate students will be paying almost $31,000.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that student housing costs at OSU will rise by up to 4.3 percent.
