Three Ohio State University students were arrested and taken to the Delaware County Jail after deputies said they broke into a home.
Deputies said the suspects broke into a home on Tartan Fields Drive around 3:00 Sunday morning, by going through the garage. Deputies said they had spent the day at the Memorial Tournament.
The suspects have been identified as 21-year-old Samuel Cochran from Dublin, 20-year-old Joseph Leonard from Columbus, and 21-year-old Carsten Raaum from Illinois.
The home on Tartan Fields Drive is just a few houses down from where one of the suspects lives.
The homeowners heard the noise, then said they heard the suspects run quickly out the door.
The suspects then drove away in the homeowner's vehicle.
The Shawnee Hills Police Department spotted the vehicle about 1/4 of a mile from the scene of the burglary and pulled the car over.
The three young men got out of the car and tried to run.
One of the suspects was quickly arrested.
A second fell into a pond and was pulled to safety.
Deputies found the third suspect hiding in the woods after about an hour, with the help of a K9 officer.
Investigators said alcohol might have been a factor in this case.
The charges include aggravated burglary, theft of a vehicle, and fleeing and eluding.
On Monday, all three men were released on $10,000 bond each and ordered to stay away from the home that was burglarized. They were also ordered not to consume alcohol or drugs.
