Special Information:
A warmer and muggier evening is in the forecast with increasing clouds. There will be a slight chance for a pop up thunderstorm as we head into the night, especially across southern and western Ohio. The threat for storms will be on the increase over the next several days as the humidity builds. A frontal boundary will stall across the Ohio Valley and will be the focus for rounds of showers and thunderstorms. While the threat for widespread severe weather is relatively low, a few storms could be strong to severe late in the afternoon and into the evening both Monday and Tuesday.
A stronger storm system will move into the Ohio Valley late on Wednesday increasing the risk for showers and storms once again. This storm system could bring more widespread strong to severe storms as it moves through Wednesday night. Behind this storm system, calmer and more comfortable weather is expected as we end the week.

Alerts :  None (SPC has central Ohio under risk for severe storms Wednesday)

Inconvenient Weather:  Increasing humidity along with an approaching storm system will increase the threat for showers and thunderstorms late tonight in through the first half of next week. A few thunderstorms could be strong late Monday into Tuesday. More widespread severe weather will be possible by late Wednesday.

Planning your Day: Warm and muggy conditions are expected today with a mix of sun and clouds. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will also be possible, especially south and west of Columbus. The threat for rain will increase Monday night as a cold front moves into central Ohio. Temperatures will remain above normal with highs in the lower to middle 80’s Monday.
