High pressure will remain in control of our weather through Memorial Day. This will keep skies mostly clear with pleasantly warm temperatures. Overnight lows will fall back into the middle to upper 50s tonight with highs in the middle 80s on Monday.
A frontal boundary will approach the state Monday evening bringing with it an increase in cloud cover and a chance for a few showers and storms by Monday night. Scattered thunderstorms will become more numerous on Tuesday as the front drifts across central Ohio and stalls. This will keep the threat for pop up showers and storms Tuesday night into Wednesday. By late Wednesday, high pressure building in from the north will push the front to the south of the state allowing for clearing skies and seasonably warm temperatures for Thursday into the following weekend. Temperatures will cool slightly Tuesday and Wednesday with more cloud cover and showers, however highs will stay in the lower 80s with lows in the low 60s.

Inconvenient Weather:  A frontal boundary will drift into the Ohio Valley late Monday causing an increase in cloud cover and the threat for showers and storms as early as Monday evening. Showers and storms will become more widespread Tuesday into Wednesday as the front slowly drifts south across central Ohio.

Planning your Day:  Warm and dry weather is expected for Memorial Day with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures reaching into the middle 80’s by afternoon. Some clouds will move in late in the day and there will be an increasing threat for a shower or storm by late evening into Monday night.
