A judge set bond at $500,000 for a man accused of running over his friend and then shooting him several times.

Police said Roger Noble, 62, got into an argument with Matthew Obert, 48, on Aven Drive Friday.

Obert later died at the hospital.

Police credited several 911 callers for helping them get on the scene before the suspect got away.

Caller: There's a white van. This guy running over him; getting ready to hit him right now. He just hit! Oh my God he just ran over him with the van. It looks like a Dodge van. He's getting ready to shoot him again. Hold up! Hold up! Hold up! Don't do it! Don't do it! Don't do it!

Police said Obert and Noble have known each other for years.

Investigators told 10TV they believed the two men were fixing up a house when an argument broke out, but detectives said they have no idea what started it.
