Police Investigating Juveniles' Role In West Side Robbery

Police were piecing together the details of a robbery in west Columbus early Sunday morning.

Dispatchers told 10TV the victim was robbed along Broad Street and Glenwood Avenue around 12:30 a.m. and flagged down a police cruiser for help.

Officers then went to a nearby home on Wisconsin Avenue to confront possible suspects.

Officers detained three people there for questioning.

Police told 10TV that at least three juveniles were on the scene on Wisconsin Avenue, but it wasn't immediately clear if they were involved in the robbery.

One of the juveniles was taken to children's services, and at least two others were taken to a juvenile detention center.

Officers also arrested one person on a felony warrant.

Dispatchers told 10TV the robbery victim was taken to Mount Carmel West.

Details of the victim's injuries weren't immediately available but the victim was expected to be ok.
