Brookhaven High School alumni got one last chance to tour their former school building Saturday.
Classmates reconnected at a pancake breakfast at the school that's scheduled to close in June.
They also got the chance to participate in an alumni basketball game as well.
Those in attendance said the day was bittersweet.
"Brookhaven is an institution," said Reggie Lee, a former Brookhaven teacher and coach. "I don't think people realize it."
Columbus City Schools is planning to close Brookhaven High School and four other schools at the end of the current school year.
