Police arrested one person in connection with a hit and run in northeast Columbus Thursday morning.
Police say a woman was driving up Cleveland Avenue near Fuji Drive around 1:00 a.m.
Witnesses told police they saw the driver hit a woman crossing the street, before driving off. The witnesses immediately jumped in their car and followed the driver to the 2100 block of Dublin Granville Road, where she stopped her car and ran into a nearby club.
Police were called to the scene, and they found the suspect in the club.
Officers said she is being charged with hit and run and drunk driving.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital, where she's expected to survive.
