Police were questioning two people after a teenager was shot inside a north Columbus home.

It happened around 1:30 Thursday morning on McGuffey Road.

Police said the 18-year-old victim saw the suspects trying to break into a car parked on McGuffey Road, and went in the house to alert the people inside.

That's when shots were fired into the house, hitting the teenager in the ankle.

She was expected to be ok.

Shortly after, police stopped a car along 26th and Cleveland Avenues and took two suspects into custody.

Police told 10TV there was also a young child in the car.
