North Columbus Pizza Shop Robbed At Gunpoint

Columbus Police were searching for the suspect who robbed a pizza shop in north Columbus.

Officers say a man in his 20's walked into Z Pizza on North High Street around 8:50 p.m. Thursday night.

Witnesses say the man flashed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded that the clerk hand over cash.

The clerk complied and the suspect walked towards the front door.

Just before leaving, the suspect looked back and said "sorry." That suspect got away with around $300.
