Special Information:
     Clouds will be on the increase tonight ahead of a storm system which is lifting out of the Gulf of Mexico and headed toward the Ohio Valley. The storm system will arrive overnight, spreading rain across the state through Monday morning. Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible through the day Monday into Monday night. Moisture will linger across the state on Tuesday which will keep skies mostly cloudy with some lingering showers. High pressure will slowly build in midweek allowing for skies to clear.
    Temperatures will cool back into the lower to middle 50’s by midweek before warming back into the middle and upper 60’s Thursday and Friday. Another weak cold front will bring the chance for showers back to central Ohio on Friday.

Alerts :  Flood Warning for the Scioto River in Marion County near Prospect until further notice.
                                                                                                                                          
Inconvenient Weather:  Rain will overspread central Ohio early Monday morning with showers likely through the day. A few thunderstorms will also be possible. While the overall threat for severe weather is slow, there is a slight chance for an isolated strong storm which could contain high winds and hail. Showers will taper off Monday evening, although more showers are possible on Tuesday.

Planning your Day:  Pack the umbrella as another soaking rain is expected as we start the workweek. Temperatures will hold in the upper 50’s to near 60 degrees. Rainfall amounts will average between 0.50 to 1.00 inch.
