Showers And Thunderstorms Continue, Several Counties Under Flood Watch

Special Information:
   A frontal boundary remains stalled over the region today and this will be the focus for more showers and a few thunderstorms today and tomorrow. As a storm system moves along the front, rain and storms will become more widespread by late in the day. A few strong storms with gusty winds will be possible along with locally heavy rainfall. The rain will taper off briefly this evening before another round of strong storms with heavy rain moves across central Ohio early tomorrow. Also, rainfall amounts could exceed 2 inches leading to some flooding in flood prone areas.
   A cold front will move east of the state by late tomorrow allowing for clearing skies and cooler temperatures to start the weekend.

ALERTS :  SPC has A Moderate Risk for Severe Storms over parts of IL, KY, TN, MS, MO, AR & LA and a Slight Risk from W. Ohio into TX today. Flood Watch in W. Ohio including Logan, Champaign, Clark & Greene Counties.
