A frontal boundary remains stalled across central Ohio this evening and this will be the focus for more showers and a few thunderstorms tonight into Thursday. As a storm system moves along the front Thursday, rain and storms will become more widespread by late in the day. A few strong storms with gusty winds will be possible along with locally heavy rainfall. The rain will taper off briefly Thursday night before another round of strong storms with heavy rain moves across central Ohio early in the day on Friday. The primary severe weather threat will be from damaging winds, however an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Also, rainfall amounts could exceed 2 inches leading to some flooding in flood prone areas.
A cold front will clear the state by late Friday allowing for clearing skies and cooler temperatures to start the weekend. Temperatures will moderate on Sunday with sunshine. Another storm system will bring the threat for rain and thunderstorms to start the new week.

Inconvenient Weather: Rain will redevelop across central Ohio by late this evening with a few thunderstorms possible overnight. Several rounds of rain and storms are expected Thursday into Friday with localized heavy rain possible. A few strong storms will also be possible late Thursday and again early in the day on Friday. Damaging wind will be the primary threat with the stronger storms.
