After a quick break from the rain Wednesday afternoon, more rain and thunderstorms will return Wednesday night into Thursday. The front will stall across central Ohio Thursday with a storm system tracking along the front on Friday. This will keep rain in the forecast through Friday. The rain could be heavy at times with 1 to 2 inches possible. This could lead to some flooding issues in low-lying areas. Also, a few thunderstorms could be strong Thursday into Friday, mainly southwest of Columbus.
Rain will come to an end as high pressure builds back into the state this weekend. Temperatures will cool back to near or below normal Saturday into Sunday.

Alerts : None.
