McDonald's Customer Robbed In Line

Columbus Police are searching for a man who robbed a McDonald's customer in west Columbus.   It happened inside the restaurant on West Broad Street at Schultz Avenue near I-70.  

The customer told detectives that he was waiting in line just before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday when a man with a gun came up from behind and demanded his money.  

That customer says the suspect was a white man who was more that six feet tall, weighing 250 pounds and wearing an orange or red sweatshirt under a brown coat.

Witnesses say the suspect ran across Broad Street, behind a Valero Gas Station, and into a neighborhood.  Police said the suspect has a gun.  Investigators are checking for fingerprints inside the restaurant.  Stay with 10TV and 10TV.com for the latest information.
