Hocking County Couple Accused Of Making Meth With Child In Home

The Hocking County Sheriff's Office says a couple is being charged for making methamphetamine in a home.

Investigators say they observed drug-related materials at a house on state Route 56 in Bloomingville.

The home was searched and Brandon H. McNichols, 30, and Megan L. Ruff, 26, were arrested.

McNichols is charged with Illegal Assembly of Chemicals to Manufacture Drugs, Weapons Under Disability, Illegal Manufacture of Drugs and Endangering Children.

Ruff is charged with Illegal Assembly of Chemicals to Manufacture Drugs, Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, and Endangering Children.

The couple's six-year-old was in the home at the time.

Wildlife officials are also investigating after evidence was discovered that could indicate the illegal harvesting of deer.

The suspects are currently being held at the Southeastern Ohio Jail in Nelsonville.
