A clear and cold start to the day followed by increasing clouds ahead of a weak system that will bring a chance for light snow showers tonight. The weekend will start on a warmer note, but yet another winter storm will bring significant snow to the area for Sunday and Monday, with areas to our south also receiving a mix of freezing rain and sleet. The exact track of the storm will play a major role in how much accumulation we see from this one. Some areas may get 6 or more inches of snow. A lot depends on any mixing that might occur. This one is worth keeping a close eye on.

Inconvenient WX/Plan Your Day: Cold today, but the winds are light. Saturday looks milder and is kind of the calm ahead of the storm. Snow or a wintry mix returns Sunday and Monday. Snow may be heavy Sunday night into Monday.
