Police Tackle Robbery Suspects At Auto Shop

Two men were arrested Monday morning after trying to smash their way into a North Columbus auto shop.

It happened at Weber Auto Service on McGuffey and East Weber Roads.

Police say an alarm went off when the suspects tried to break the glass on the front of the building to get into the auto shop.

Police arrived quickly on the scene and chased down the suspects. Police said they had to tackle the two men to the ground.

One suspect was hurt during the arrest and treated on the scene.

Both men are expected to face charges.
