UPDATED: Tuesday February 11, 2014 11:58 AM

Investigators on Tuesday released new video of a fire at a historic building in Waverly.

The Emmitt House was destroyed on January 6.

New video shows law enforcement officers inside the building being warned by the Waverly Fire Chief to evacuate.

As they leave, the video shows the second floor collapsing. Officials say it shows just how close this fire came to injuring first responders.

The fire was apparently involved for more than 30 minutes before it was discovered.

The estimated loss of the fire was between $1.5 - 2 million. A neighboring building also suffered heavy damage.

Investigators are asking anyone with additional information about the blaze to call the Fire & Explosion Investigation Bureau at (800) 589-2728.
