Woman Pulled From Burning Mobile Home

UPDATED: Thursday February 6, 2014 2:50 PM

Firefighters in Hebron say a woman was pulled from a burning mobile home early Thursday morning.

The home caught fire on Hebron Road around 4:00 a.m.

Rescue workers say a man inside the home escaped and was found barefoot nearby.

“He was just a mess - crying. My wife came  down here and got him because he didn't  have any shoes on, pants or anything  else cause he just had time to run out  of the trailer,” said the man’s father. “He said there was an explosion, blew out the windows. Animals were flying out the window. He ran out the trailer. He said there was no getting to her because it  was engulfed in flames."

The woman could be heard screaming for help when firefighters arrived. Hebron firefighters rescued her but she was unresponsive.

She was rushed to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in a helicopter.

Investigators are still on scene trying to figure out what caused the fire.
