Four people were behind bars on Thursday after being arrested for their alleged involvement in a robbery spree that spanned several communities.

Westerville police told 10TV that they worked with other agencies, and relied on video surveillance and forensic evidence to catch the group.

Sue Shields, the owner of Yogi’s Hoagies, said she was robbed at gunpoint back on January 14. She said the crime took away her sense of security.

Shields said, “I just have nightmares. It’s an awful thing I’m going to have to live with.”

Thursday the business owner found out who police arrested for the crime.  She said she had mixed feelings because one of the suspects is her former employee.

Westerville police said Dylan Teegarden admitted to robbing his former boss.

Police arrested Teegarden and three others, including brothers Jay and Jack Coplen and Chelsie Kennedy.

The trio is suspected of robbing a Subway restaurant on South State Street in Westerville on Wednesday night.

Police said all four admitted involvement in eight recent robberies, including three in Columbus, one in Blendon Township and four along South State Street in Westerville.

Police tell us they are not aware of a motive for the robberies.
