Freezing rain and up to six inches of snow buried parts of Delaware and Marion counties Wednesday morning.
10TV's Tino Ramos traveled along U.S. 23 and checked on the dangerous road conditions as the storm hit.
Ramos reported seeing ice a quarter of an inch thick.
The ice was built up on vehicles. Matt Eizensmits told 10TV that it took him 20 minutes to chip it away and get in his car.
Roads were made even more dangerous because of the ice on top of the snow cover.
