Pickup Truck Collides With Train In New Lexington

A pickup truck driver is recovering after colliding with a moving train in Perry County.

This happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Main Street in downtown New Lexington.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the train was moving approximately eight miles per hour at the time of the crash.

The driver was taken to Fairfield Medical Center, then transported to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

The driver is expected to survive.
