UPDATED: Wednesday January 15, 2014 11:55 AM

Columbus Police have charged a woman after an armed robbery at a Dublin-area gas station.

The robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of Tuttle Crossing Wednesday morning.

Witnesses told police they walked into the gas station and found the clerk tied up with a cut across his face.

The victim told officers that a woman had come in and tried to purchase some gift cards. When the clerk told her that her credit card was declined, police say she pulled a steak knife out of her purse and cut the clerk.

The clerk said the suspect then attempted to break the surveillance video, tied the clerk up, and left.

The female suspect was found a short time later near the gas station.

Police have charged Latrice Williams with the crime.

Detectives were questioning the suspect and also trying to find usable surveillance video.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery.
