This Morning:    Mainly clear and cold with wind chill values around zero.

Sunday:    A wintry mix changing to all snow by late in the day. High 36

Special Information:

High pressure will bring a sunny start to the weekend with highs ranging from the upper 20s to mid 30s. Cloud cover will increase late today and tonight ahead of our next storm system. That storm will bring a mix of rain, sleet and snow Sunday to the Columbus metro area before changing to all snow by late in the day. The late transition to snow will likely keep snowfall totals across Columbus and areas to the southeast between 2-4 inches. If an earlier changeover to snow occurs, snowfall totals will be higher. Areas northwest of Columbus will likely see nothing but snow and, as a result, the possibility of snowfall totals as high as 6 inches or greater. Much colder air will settle into central Ohio Monday and Tuesday along with windy conditions. Highs will be in the single digits or below zero with wind chill readings as low as -20 to -40. Another storm system could bring more significant snow Wednesday night into Thursday.

Alerts: Winter Storm Warning and Winter Storm Watch for portions of central Ohio early Sunday morning into early Monday morning and Wind Chill Watch from late Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon
