Snow Flurries Expected Through The New Year

AFTERNOON WEATHER DISCUSSION Date:  Dec. 30 Time: 11:30 a.m. Meteorologist: Josh Poland   Your Doppler 10 Forecast   This Afternoon: A few lingering flurries or pockets of light snow early. Otherwise, chilly with more clouds than sun. Afternoon high 29 Tonight: Mostly cloudy and cold. Chance for light snow late north of Columbus. Low 21 Tuesday: Light snow possible north of Columbus early in the morning. Otherwise, partly cloudy, breezy and chilly. High 31

Special Information:  We continue to see flurries and pockets of light snow on Live Doppler 10 radar. A light coating will be possible in spots. If you don't see snow, expect to see more clouds than sun and afternoon highs ranging from the mid 20s to low 30s. We'll be chilly tonight with lows in the upper teens and low 20s. Areas north of Columbus could also see some light snow late tonight into Tuesday morning.  We'll stay chilly throughout the week with highs in the upper 20s and low 30s. If you're planning to head out for New Year's Eve celebrations at night, plan on a chilly night with temperatures in the upper teens and low 20s. The computer models are indicating the possibility of snow showers late New Year's Day into Thursday.
