Special Information:

Winter officially arrives today, but it will be feeling more like spring with rain and mild temperatures. Heavy rain is likely at times today and tonight. A few thunderstorms will be possible this evening/tonight and a few may become strong to severe. The combination of the rain and melting snow will likely lead to some flooding issues. Flood Watches are in effect through Sunday as rainfall totals between 1-4 inches will be possible by Sunday afternoon. We’ll be mild all weekend with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Colder air returns Sunday night into Monday along with a slight chance for some light snow. Temperatures will likely be in the 30s Monday through Christmas. Our chances for a white Christmas look slim at this point.

Alerts: FLOOD WATCHES in effect through Sunday. SLGIHT RISK for severe storms tonight.

Inconvenient Weather: Rain likely today—heavy at times

Planning Your Day:  Look for showers this morning and afternoon with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.
