3 Columbus Residents Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop Leads To Raids

Three Colmbus residents were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after agents served two warrants.

The arrests stem from a Ohio Highway Patrol traffic stop on I-270 earlier on Wednesday where two pounds of methampehetamine was located.

OHP troops, police, ATF and Homeland Security agents served warrants at 4982 Sullivant Avene and 93 Woodlawn Avenue.

At those locations, one pound of meth, 20 pounds of marijuana, 12 vials of synthetic marijuana, heroin and bath salts were recovered.

Agents also found three firearms and $24,000.

Julio Cesar Morales, 23; Jorge Armando Carrillo, 35; and Nora Isabel Carrillo, 30, were all charged with possession with intent to distribute.

The investigation continues and more charges are possible.
