Warm Up On The Way, Flooding Possible Over Weekend

UPDATED: Wednesday December 18, 2013 5:47 PM

Your Doppler 10 Forecast

This Evening:  Partly cloudy and pleasant.
Tonight:          Clear to partly cloudy and cold again.  Low 25.
Tomorrow:      Partly sunny and warmer.  High 45.
Friday:            Showers likely and warmer.  High 52.

Special Information:
Get ready for a December thaw.   Much warmer weather is on the way with highs climbing into the 40s tomorrow and 50s beginning Friday.  But with the warm up comes rain and the potential for flooding.  Scattered showers will begin before sunrise Friday and more steady rains are expected on Saturday.   Latest models are showing one to three inches of rain may fall by Sunday afternoon.     The rain will turn to snow showers as cooler air returns next week.   Even though I have snow in the forecast, our chances of a White Christmas is only twenty percent.

Alerts :  None

Inconvenient Weather:  Melting snow and 1-3 inches of rain could lead to weekend flooding.
